SCHEC Mission

The major purpose of SCHEC is to share information and provide channels of communication among the segments of higher education located within the South Coast region of Southern California. Segments include both public and private institutions.

SCHEC initiates and coordinates projects of mutual interest to member institutions and provides a vehicle for solving problems related to transfer credit, course equivalencies and major curriculum changes, all of which have great impact on secondary schools, colleges, and universities.
